Could someone get a message in game to someone for me please?

Earlier this morning while on my necrogirl Kayvrie I was asked if I'd help a player named Gurt buy a spell from Free Port where he was kos. I made a human to buy the spell for him, but shortly after he handed me the 55pp my computer crashed and is in the process of a system restore as I type this. If someone could message Gurt in game and tell him that I'm incredibly sorry and will get his pp to him as soon as I can get back into the game, I'd be really grateful. If he has a forum account, maybe he could come post and I can set up a time to meet him once my computer is restored? I just hate that he likely thinks I ran off with his money :/ Thank you to anyone who gets this message to him, Kayvrie/Valessa | ||

Hey I just logged into EQ and attempted to send Gurt a tell but it says he isn't online. (Granted this is an hour later than your original post)

Shortly after arriving in Free Port with my human, I realized that I couldn't remember how to get to the evil vendor area, or even what zone they were in. Not wanting to keep you waiting, I tried to pull up a quick map, but for some reason the sites I had to choose from were all sites I'd never seen before, but how bad could they be, right? After clicking on one map, a popup launched that caused my computer to disable everything other than a screen that informed me that the computer was locked by 'the US Department of Justice' who insisted I send them $300 to unlock my computer due to a 'spam or copyright' violation. *sigh* All of the 'not very good with fixing computers' steps failed, so I've been waiting to hear that this has been dealt with, though it's apparently taking longer than usual to get rid of this virus. Also, the account where this 'moneypak' was to be sent is apparently in Romania *laughs* Anyway, I apologize again for all of this and will keep you updated as things progress, though I doubt this will take longer than a day to fix.
