New 1999 Players, from old Seventh Hammer

Just dropping a note to introduce ourselves, and to thank all of those involved here! (Forgive me if this is in the wrong spot - I didn't see a forum for introductions). We are Anowin and Hurricayne, played EQ from Kunark to PoP mostly on the Seventh Hammer. Hated where the game went after Velious. It became so easy and so geared to an immature, instant-gratification player base, that we stopped. Unfortunately, it set off a whirwind of even worse MMORPGs in my opinion. Tried Vanguard, tried EQ II for a good while, but nothing compared to classic EQ. I'm ready to get my epic again....the hard way! We will be on EST most evenings (depending when the kids get to sleep), so give us a shout. Again, thank you!

One noob question: I understand and LOVE the ban on two boxing, but obviously we play from the same router. So I'll make the appropriate IP Exemption request. The sticky asks for the "login names." I'm assuming those are the names for the EQEMU login server, correct? Thanks -- can't wait to actually make the first scary trip to Freeport through Highpass...
