Making plat as a 53 ranger
I've got pretty limited play time these days and my main is a 53 ranger. Getting groups is proving to be a HUGE chore, and trying to make a group in the 50's as a ranger doesn't work nearly as well as it did in lower levels.
Anyway, I don't want to retire him/start a new char (as tempting as a chanter would be), and the only way I can stomach soloing would be with a fungii. I need to make ~35k more and need some farming suggestions. Playtime is probably too erratic to do a peggy cloak farm.

Farm some mid-tier items? Gatorscale legs, hooded black cloak, ring of ancients (JBoots) MQ, etc.

could farm this up in about 35~ hours in Rivervale killing guards. Not saying it's the best, but probably easiest/least amount of competition, as well as being able to sell and bank on the spot is nice...

Are Rivervale guards seriously 1k/hour? Why do people to seafuries then?

Jboots MQ, maybe even look into the peggy cloak service (being a ranger, you can def do this np)

Xp + potential for some pp doing the forager/hunter cycles in TT?
Probably couldn't just go toe to toe with them, since they're level 45. But they'd be easy enough to kite around some if you need to heal or whatever you rangers do to kill stuff.

For a 53 Ranger (that can't really camp anything decent) hard grinding PP in Rivervale is probably the best way. It's just tedious. EDIT: You can curve out to 1k/h if you zone out and run to the wall and kill any open guards there as well.

I wouldn't mind terribly if i ruined my halfling faction; does it conflict with the Ranger epic? I have a feeling it does, with Ella Foodcrafter and whatnot.

As far as TT cycle goes....
I can solo them in straight melee if I get a slow proc off semi quickly - they just have a ton of hp, but then I have huge downtime. Also I doubt I could kill a named, I'd have to bow kite it if it was a non caster and that would take an hour. I've done it for ~3 hours duo but had no luck actually getting named mobs to pop.
