Default Patching UI files

Description:
If the user applies customized UI files into the EQ\uifiles\default, then when patching the client with the required p99 patch files causes a GUI Error when loading the server.
User must re-apply their customized UI files in order to play.

Suggestion:
Do not patch the UI Files with the required client patch levels (Project 1999 Files (V31) etc.). Anyone with customized UI's will experience GUI Errors after applying the patches.

Surely a better suggestion is for players to not install custom UIs into the default folder? I refer you to the EQInterface.com FAQ:

http://www.eqinterface.com/forums/faq.php?faq=install

At some point the devs may have to supply updated UI files, so they'll have to supply an updated "default" in the patch.

Yeah just make a custom ui folder and put them in there and then switch to it on login - that was the whole point of the way it's setup.
