Default Hotkey issues

Trying to come back, installed on new comp. Now my hot keys won't stay in game, like f9 instead of changing the camera as it is set to, will open Cortana and minimize the game even when in full screen. What do?

Just curious, is this a laptop or desktop computer? Not sure if this is the case, but my laptop requires the fn key to be pressed with the fx keys (all but f5) for it not to perform what I would consider secondary functions, such as sound / brightness / wifi off.

When you say "Now my hot keys won't stay in game..." can you explain this in a little more detail, or is it just the f9 key issue?

It is a laptop but I ran it before on another laptop without this problem.

I haven't tried other f keys, I didn't have time to set up my Hotkeys again, just noticed that f9 in particular dropped me out of game and opened a system function instead of changing the in game camera.

Ok so it works if I hold the fn key. Can I make it so I don't need to do this?

without knowing the make and model of the laptop I can only suggest that you check for a fnlock button or check bios settings to see if the feature can be disabled there.
