Default First time EQ player

Super stoked to try out project green. I've heard so much about EQ over the years and different private servers friends have played on, this is a great chance to play from a fresh start.

Can't wait to get in! My friend wont be able to play until later, is it worth it to pickup any professions for me to kill some time while I wait for him to come in?

In this game you want to target every mob before you engage and hit C for consider.

At level 1 target whites. from 2 on try to do blue con creatures. Stuff your level and higher is very tough solo for most classes.

www.eqtraders.com

There are no recipes listed in game. all of it is experimentation unless you use a site like the one above that tells you what to put in containers.

Thanks for the heads up! I have a friend I'm going to play with. Planning to do shadow knight/cleric combo. Solo play seems rough, but I've heard good things about Shadow Knight.

There are recipes listed in game. You have to buy recipe books.

EQ is the best game ever.

Some of them can be done with newbie bits. Tailoring can be started with spider silk and ruined pelts, blacksmithing with rusty weps, and baking with odds and ends
