Default Error -6001

I have tried redownloading Everquest Titanium 3 times now and have used Virtual Clone Drive and Daemon in an attempt to load the CD ISO, but with no success. I don't understand what's wrong. Not even sure if I'll remember my login info when I get on anyways tho...

Really? I have seen threads pop with responses on other similar topics. None with a definite resolution. Was hoping someone with tech knowledge could inform me if this is a problem with the EQ titanium, the virtual driver or my computer. I want to fix whatever it is. I read somewhere else that it could possibly be my computer has registry errors and that is a result. Which I don't know too much about so I guess I must consider reformatting my computer.

If I can follow the necessary steps to legally attain this I will. But if not I don't want to waste my time, money and energy for a futile cause...

i dont know where you get the error code -6001 from ... neither deamon tools nor virtual clone drive nor titanium seem to have this error number ...

6002 is the closest i could find

http://www.thehelper.net/forums/show...rd-Setup-Error

wich seems to say your installation source is corrupt

InstallShield error -6001 is telling you that there has been an issue with replacing the existing InstallShield common files (runtimes). If you haven't been installing as an Administrator, do that first (right-click on setup.exe and "Run as Administrator"). If that doesn't work, try this:

1. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional\Runtime

2. Rename all subdirectories to <name>.old. The subdirectories are individual versions of the InstallShield runtime. I don't know which one was used for Titanium.

3. Run your setup again, and it should work this time. You can probably delete the old runtimes as they are reinstalled when you run InstallShield -- but if you don't need to do so, just rename them back after you're done.
