Faction didnt mess this up. They nerfed the quest about a month ago. Non the less I got one for trade contact me via PM.

Not only do you not require any type of faction for this quest in any way shape or form, but I completed it yesterday.

Did you already have the note to turn in from back in the day? If so then thats why I heard the dude you give bracer back too doesnt respond now or spawn the chick after turning in the bracer. Someone confirm you can still complete from begining to end?

Talking about Thex Mallet here not Dagger. Don't have the faction to do it since the patch 100% confirmed.

So the only thing I can think of is that you're talking about faction necessary to get the letter from Kizdean Gix?

But so far in my experience Cmdr Windstream is always up... So Im not sure if by some chance people have just been handing the note to Lrodd and then not bothering with the rest of the quest, or if hes just on a spawn timer right now and not a trigger.

Either way, if the latter does prove to be true than no faction is necessary to do this quest in its current state.
