Default Local EQ Server

Hey all,

Weird question, is it possible to create a local eq server for lanning with friends?
If so, is there any easy way to do it without programming knowledge of any sort?

Always been curious about this.

Kiss you all

I can see a couple of reasons right off the bat.

Easy to backup/restore before/after changes (just shutdown the Vm and copy the folder to another location).

You don't have the extra hardware (the server doesn't use much memory/cpu if memory serves, I set one up a couple of years ago for fun)

The client is really the only thing you would want to run natively.

Its good practice overall, to not junk up your system with files/registry keys/etc that you aren't going to use all of the time. I use them all of the time when tinkering. It gets annoying to have to reimage your system every time you fuck something up.
