The zone from the rogue guild in NQ to Qey Catacombs warps you to the zone to the docks in SQ

True story. I had this happen to me about a week ago. I thought it was supposed to be that way so thought nothing of it.

Btw, the zone-out from catacombs to the pool (near crow's) in north qeynos is buggy. I zoned in and out several times. I think that if you keep your fingers on the keyboard and point up as soon as you zone into NQ you should be ok, but any pause or hesitation and you zone back into catacombs - for someone new to this (like i was) it'll take a few min to correctly zone into NQ at the pool. (While this effect is probably not intended, it does add a bit to the sense of progression, imho. Since it does appear you can zone in/out properly, but only after doing it a bit, it does feel like you're learning something that someone new might not know. It's funny that this wasn't intended. If it was, I can imagine a lot of people making bug reports (lol). If it had been intended, it would just be another characteristic that adds to the mix. Traversing the environment (correctly, like without dying or going the wrong way) in any mmorpg or rpg, for me, has always been half the battle, at least. It contributes greatly to the sense of progression.)

I put up a thread about this a few days ago, and got this reply:

The admins are using invisible npcs with proximity detectors to transport people to and from the aqueducts (the regular zone lines were causing problems, possibly due to too many different zone-in points--same situation in Freeport). Is it possible you are hitting the zone line area and skipping by the invisible npc before it activates? Approach more slowly and you should be ok.

I also had some problems with the far NW zone point (aqueducts to N.Q. near the monk guild) as the transport drop point is too close to the npc, and upon sinking a little bit after zoning, one gets drawn back into the aqueducts.

It made sence to me, but I haven't played a character that could test this since I read his post.

Yeah that's correct. I helped test this and get it working in beta. The best workaround? Approach the zonelines slowly. Swim slowly, walk when you're near a zoneline in qcat. We tried a bunch of different solutions and the zoners were the only thing we could get to work.

I always duck walk through city zones, just duck right before so you don't have to cancel sow/jboots

Bump.

Working okay I guess?
