tartons wheel question

So i completed tartons wheel finally - yay!

I got the staff and the star of eyes. I turned the star of eyes back to Sulgar and he gave me a rune of the astral but it isnt stackable and it wont combine with a rune of impetus... any purpose for this rune?

is it a bug or am i dumb?

If you're doing the proper combine in a lexicon it should work. Maybe the quest rewarded rune is bugged? Try the ice comet combine with it

I don't think you can use that rune for anything else but combining it with Frost that he gives you to make ice comet. You need to give him the staff to get the correct rune.

the lore astral + lore frost runes make ice comet.

otherwise you need the regular non-lore versions to make your spells.
