installing now. just saw the elf chick with the big cans. brings back memories..

I decided to make a gnome rogue to play around with. Should I immediately head to East Commons? Is that where the people are?

Reroll Dorf, MASTER RACE.

Prolly could run over to Gfay and kill some orcs and collect belts/pads for some xp or to sell to people to make some quick cash.

First and foremost, pick the class you want to play most.
There are tons of groups going.
Easiest groups is 8+ in the common lands and surrounding areas.
I'm nearly 9 on my new char and always find at least 2 ppl to tag along to whatever.. In befallen now .. Good times. Next.. Guk and unrest.. Some najena etc.. Plenty of people 10-30(I'd say couple hundred daily)

Gnome or dwarf starts you over by Gfay, I'd go over there just cause it's easier to level than BBM or the Gnome starters which have high level mobs running around for the sole purpose of infuriating lowbies and making your time all the shittier. You can do the mail run for cash until you can afford to pay a dru/wiz to get you out of there, preferably EC. I really wouldn't recommend CB anymore, it's a bust, lots of high level guilds stealing the whole zone to pl their lowbie alts and elitist groups in general.
