I think everything in paw is green after 35 except ishva

Over lvl 35 your only good options are kedge and solb for grouping, and nobody pugs kedge
Deep in paw there are still a lot of gnolls that are blue to me (at 50), around where Ishva spawns, I think. Paw is definitely doable past 35.

I remember leveling my ranger around the executioner area when he was 35, and everything on track was green/lb.

long time ago though...I might be thinking of permafrost =p

You're thinking of something other than paw. Executioner area is all dark blue with a few (<10%) light blues at 40.

You must be thinking of the LOW level, classic-classic paw that apparently couldn't be implemented here because of a lack of data. (There were no sniffers/dumpers at that time.) This is the newer/MID level paw.

Damn, and I thought I was playing the most classic version of Everquest.

Anybody know of a "classic-classic" emu server?

Once you suckle from the Kedge teet, it’s hard to go back. I think people enjoy ezmode leveling, so when you have to worry about dispelling mobs and keeping EB up, it turns some off. Kedge is a great zone, it’s typically undercamped, so if you show up with a solid group you can help yourself to almost anything you want.

Scooped this up a few weeks ago there -- http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=2377

This server follows the classic time line so Paw version 1 wouldn't be around anymore anyway. (I'm guessing you were just being sarcastic though.)
