Yeah they trashed it, no idea why they started to take out all the characters that really made Diablo.. well Diablo. Like deckard cain to start. Removed TPs, Identify scrolls,
Like literally anything origional to Diablo was removed. | ||

I still play D2. I bought D3 at release. Played it, had a good time, liked the story, but the game was shit because Blizzard didn't create it properly.
Gear was stupid to get. The stats were so stupid per item......

Diablo3 is really a great game. With all the changes they have made, I don't see how anyone can say its not the greatest ARPG of all time unless you don't actually play the game. Its not something that takes years on end to max out on (ala EQ), but its really fun to come back to when you're bored. You can also play quick games when you don't have a lot of time. Most criticism of it is from people who want it to replace WoW and its just not that kind of game.

dusted off witch doctor few days ago. naked minus 2 soso legendaries, bout 6 hours later i've a full 6/6 set and rest decent (though non ancient) legendaries. with none of that gear optimized I'm still able to speed clearing T6 in a couple minutes, and doing T8/g35 rifts in about 5-7min.
after 6 hours spread over a few days.. game so easy now | ||
