If Kunark had variance maybe, one guild keeping it locked down for years without breaking a sweat back to back bosses one day was pretty lame, very limited content.
But as far as design I see what ur saying. | ||

Take Crystal Caverns. waste of zone due to no cool itemization. And before you say "its low lvl". Guk is low level, guk has meaningful items even in Velious. ghoulbane is cool and meaningful for a good quest and so are frog crown and FBSS and SSB. even yaks.
Why does Crystal Cavern have fuckall items after all that design of the zone? Why not make Icewell a guk 2.0 itemization wise and expand the design? let people have some fun doing something besides farming gems. I guess those gear sets killed any creativity the devs had. Kunark just feels more like a continuation of classic, very cohesive, immersive kick ass itemization and camps. etc. Where is earring of essence in Velious? BoH? Where is all the cool stuff outside of raids and armor sets?
