Speaking of World of Warcraft: Classic... the blizzcon reveal and Q&A finished today.

- No battlegrounds for the first 8 months (classic).
- Dire Maul, Maraudon, World Dragons & World Bosses available at launch (not classic).
- Mechanics of overpopulated players in game world locations being Sharded away in order to reduce server stress is included. Blizz doubled down in insisting this will be used beyond the initial launch of servers. This means 100 vs 100 player PvP fights at Blackrock will not happen. (not classic).
- Loot Trading was insisted to be a part of the launch. This is the mechanic where a Bind on Pickup piece of loot can be traded to other players, just as how it works in current retail. So... If you stream Classic, your viewers can dungeon dive and give you free loot. (not classic).
- Servers have an unknown player cap. This question was asked repeatedly and Blizz refused to answer it repeatedly. Old cap on pre Burning Crusade servers was 3.5 k players, as witnessed on Cenarian Circle NA. Final answer will probably not be remotely classic.

Blizzard fucked up. It makes me very grateful for P1999.
