Magcian research was missing various spells at launch so magicians literally could not have a pet above like 30 or 34... I forget... until 6mo into the game when they added the spells to vendors.
People really need to keep in mind by time kunark landed a year after launch a very large amount of changes were made to fix all the goofs at launch. Alot of this stuff was patched and fixed with the kunark expansion and subsequent patches the following months. | ||
