ETA on dot kite nerf?

I'm quite sure dots do not do full dmg on kite currently. It takes me like 11 mins to snare dot kite an ice giant and like 6 to root rot one. Did you confirm this dmg somehow that I could be mistaken?

Assuming your a Druid. Even 66 percent dmg kiting red con's in the 20s and 30s is a pretty vise strategy assuming you are swarm dotting.

Sometimes I wish I weren't so lazy. I've done some comparisons around levels 31-35 with gnolls and it seemed about the same damage dot kiting and root rotting after accounting for the damage my roots were doing. I've been messing around at hill giants lately and they do take forever to kill with this strategy, but root rotting still feels like the only difference is it's more dangerous and I get some extra damage from my roots. I'll admit though, i haven't tried root rotting with giants hardly at all.

I've sort of assumed since most people I talked to in game say dots do full damage while kiting. It would actually be nice to hear any other people's experiences with this.
