Yes but in green\teal's case they were essentially exactly the same thing. They barely existed independently at all. When they re-merged, only teal people were complaining about it, and to this day they imagine teal was some kind of magic land devoid of "toxicity", which means precisely nothing. The two servers merged and the resulting server was called "green". Had the resulting server been called "teal" instead, the green people I'm sure would be bemoaning it and longing for the days of green and how magically awesome it was.

It's all just everquest.
