I heard about it because I am a moderator on the EQC forums and I was looking at a post to either approve/disapprove it and it mentioned this server.

I came on in beta, played a few weeks after launch and quit.

....but I think I am coming back when the server comes back up....

My friend who got me into EQ in 1999 told me about this server. Funny thing is, he himself hasn't even installed it. It's been nearly 2 months now I've been nagging him to do it. I thought for sure the 25% XP bonus would do it for him, but nope.
