Seriously, "troll" is beyond meaningless at this point, might as well just say I disagree with you.

EQ doesn't take place in the middle ages. Nor do most fantasy games for that matter.
I think Dantes was just being facetious. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yeah I thought of that, was more aimed at others who think that should be the criteria, no slight intended.

Not sure what you mean...? Nothing I've said in this thread is being facetious, it's just my personal view. It just happens to be the unpopular one on this forum apparently, but oh well [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

frefaln is quite obviously a play off of Free Falling the Tom Petty Song. I demand his forum name get changed at once as it is offensive for such a retarded person using a name relating to such a legendary song.

You would lose that bet. You'll notice there are no surnames which would fall under the same category as yours on the list, descriptive surnames are fine if they're not juvenile or assisting the first name in some kind of phrase.

I am curious about that post, because the impression I am getting is that since you are offended, everyone else needs to bend to your wishes. I hate to say this, but if a simple name causes you so much grief, you may want to consider playing in a more tightly controlled sandbox.

Name yourself with some pride and diginity. I usually take EQ naming as serious as naming a pet or a child. Would you really want to holler it out the name when in the back yard? "GET IN HERE SHITFNGERAGOT!" - I think not. Perhaps the majority of players are too used to the WoW naming policies these days, who knows.
