This guy simply wanted to know whether investing his time (leveling a character/gearing him) is worth the fun/value that the game will deliver or whether the end-game is so uber-competitive that he will just lose interest after a while.

The guy asked for something no one other than him would be able to find the answer to.
One individual cannot measure the fun/value another person will experience.

It is inherently far more subjective than a simple question on race/exp penalty, or class/race selection.
