![]() if you wanna get technical, OP lost the roll and shouldn't have gotten the item
personally, a 3k item that everyone and their pokemon-playing little brother has isn't really worth an inv slot ill give up an upgrade to someone in a PUG on a cheap item because a. i'm not an asshole and b. i don't want someone to get bent and make an RnF post about me that ends up being 12 pages long lol apparently TMO rule lawyering has now been moved from raid mobs to seb xp group nameds rofl

I think I admitted pretty clearly I lost my temper and was pissed. I could have handled it better. By the way, I also could have offered a few nice items I have in my inventory in trade for the robe. It was just the principle that caught me off guard. As I have said, I thought clear nbg was the operative rule. Some have said, if it were a diff item, I would change my tune. Not true, and that much I can guarantee you. I tend to think of drops relative to, who can most use it. In other words, the exact meaning of NBG. I am very happy to be known as a player who thinks nbg should be the norm, by the way. The rest of you pros can go with greed before need. Feel free. But I got angry. I was surprised nbg was being disregarded, even as I posted in group chat what my current gear was and how psyched I was at drop. I don't know. I'm disappointed. I have never played as a selfish player. This thread is kinda misrepresenting me, especially as to "stealing" a seb scale item. I am fairly sure, I got angry and left and forgot I still had that item. Which is a trash item, no? This is just sort of sad. I'm a decent player. I'm not greedy. But because I got angry at what is an explicitly greedy policy -- gbn -- I am being trashed as greedy. I was talking last night to some old friends from FoH, who asked me if I wanted to get a key for some alphas of eqnext. Maybe I will. But it sucks, cuz I would rather play classic. But some of you peo9ple are really twisted. All I wanted was a robe upgrade. Damn.

Yes, the robe is an upgrade for you. Yes, you can equip the robe immediately. And yes, my bard would sell the robe in EC and use the plat for upgrades he can use. The end result is the same - that item helps my bard with an upgrade just as it helps your enchanter with an upgrade. Your stance is that because you can equip the item you are the only one for whom it is helpful and that is simply not true. As many others have said, guild/friend groups are great for doing NBG. A group of random strangers is 99% chance going to be a greed group and I honestly have no idea how you could have leveled that high without knowing that.
