Why would you be upset about torches to the guards?

Giving pets a torch, a regular 1 silver half pound torch from a vendor will cause any NPC to start dual wielding. necro pets, mage pets, guards, charmed pets, even chanter animations.

Also, if you give a pet a 2h weapon and a torch, it will also start DWing. I tried this with a firerune brand and a torch, my mage and whew.
