Corpses still do not cause global warming though. Just making sure, right?
The abundance of corpses adds strain to both the server and the user clients as they have extra data to process. This increases the power consumption, which is predominately provided by oil, coal, and natural gas, even more so in the United States than Europe. Those energy byproducts are belched straight towards the upper atmosphere where they destroy ozo.... er, whatever is being destroyed this decade.

This ecological disruption has caused so much ice in the himalayas to melt that there are torrential floodings in highly populated and impoverished portions of Tibet, China, and India.

You are drowning poor children with your damn corpses, jerk.

Yeah, corpse timers need to get fixed so I don't have to type /hidecorpse. Forget about plane of sky, kunark, velious, etc., I'll just sit in EC tunnel all day not typing hidecorpse and be happy.

BRILLIANT! lol actually proving that those corpses ARE indeed depleting the ozone. ROFL nice.

Now, regarding FCN's corpse in the EC tunnel, I too found that offensive. And I'm not even "F" or an "N" but I do have a "C" And no i'm not trolling the GM's; I just assumed one of them would have seen it by now. Cuz FCN's huge corpse was unmistakable in the EC tunnel.

I thought /hidecorpse all hid mob corpses as well so it would be kind of dumb and annoying to continuously type or hotkey it.

Don't think it hid NPC corpses at all... but I can't say for positive, I just don't recall.

But I know any *new* corpses left after you issue the command - you will see. I just hit it once if there's a lot around, I don't keep hitting it.

Just once is enough if there are too many around. But my system now, can handle a ton of them around anyway, unlike the system I had back when I played EQLive.

Of course, I remember before that command was ever in the game.

But I do admit, in some cases, they can be good landmarks.

Naked corpse, about 30 seconds.
No way that can not be ... lets say i die whatever in lguk at frenzy, my IVU fades on the way down and i die again = impossible to recover in 30 sec ... did you also mean 30min?

Longer... it has to be, well over level 10 - let's say.

I don't know HOW many times I've been in groups or raids where there was a wipe and then 10 more bodies left per person as a result of trying to get the one with the gear.

30 seconds on naked ones - would mean a LOT of lost XP in those situations.

If you could just do it by zone it would make a big impact - the newb zones being 90% of the corpse population, lol

I think that line was also referring to newbie corpses. I'd certainly hope a higher-level naked corpse would have the regular timers for the CR purposes you just mentioned.

Naked PC corpses that have experience and are above level 30 will now last 3 hours instead of 3 minutes.
