KLTA came under fire this week after a concerned co-worker came to the rescue of Meteorologist Liberte Chan's failing dignity. Netizens expressed their displeasure with the public shaming in strongly worded statements to the local television station. The Harlot fired back at the misguided attempts by her viewers to salvage her liberty, asserting that she has good relations with her co-workers and employers alike and was at no time directed to arrest the flagrant display of flesh.

I don't think the dress was inappropriate or bad. It was fine and beautiful and she's a beautiful woman.

But it was unprofessional.

That's a dress I would wear out to dance. A jacket or a shawl would have been a fine addition. To make it more professional.

Though it's still over the top classy showy for a supposedly professional job. It's appropriate to dress down for people to be more interested in your presentation than yourself.

The whole dressing down professionalism thing comes from a patriarchal working environment where showing wealth, but being subdued about it is a big thing. Should woman or men be subject to that? Not ideally no.

I'd prefer to live in a world were a womans dress is not an issue.

It was probably staged, possibly without her consent though. She's choosing to not make an issue out of it, and I respect her for that.

it's hilarious to think of people actually upset over bared shoulders but this station is known to pull stunts for ratings, so the truth and humor of this story are tainted.

Nothing wrong with making the weather seem more interesting with some skin. Really who wants to watch the weather on tv during the news... Fuck who even watches the news anymore. They could go naked and yet the ratings would still be the same.
