Default Custom Plate Helm

Good Morning fine folks of P99. Quick question requiring a quick answer.. My warrior is currently fitted with a Champion's Crown. I want the fancy looking one, Custom Champion's Crown. After looking up the quest, is appears it's as simple as going to Icewell Keep, locating Dain Frostreaver, hand him my champions crown, and he will then hand back the custom champions crown? Is this correct??

It was at this point I decided to no longer be kind to the casuals as they have extreme short term memory. They did this to themselves, unfortunately.

Oops, you are correct. The turn in is to Royal Armorer Slade. But other than me naming the wrong turn in toon, is the rest correct and as simple as stated?

Yep, it's that easy. I was hesitant to hand over my precious hat as well.

Like you already stated, make sure you're giving it to the right guy. You don't want an NPC to eat your hat.

Don't be spooked if you zone into Icewell and see that every mob cons dubious. The Royal Armor is on Coldain faction, not Dain Frostreaver faction. If your faction is Kindly and sufficient to do the initial helm quest, you'll be fine to hand it in for customization.

For the most part, yeah. All players start out at least dubious to Dain Frostreaver. Just watch out for the big circular well in the middle of the Dain's top floor room. Don't fall down there. And don't try and drag any bodies, if for whatever reason that comes up; Icewell Keep has corpse drag aggro.
