Is there a /gems leaderboard built into p99?
I know this server is filled with competitive raiders but I doubt those skills translate to /gems. As part of the chardok 2.0 release or future "custom content" I think it'd be great to have a leaderboard available for competitive gems players.

Gems sucked, sorry to say. I think they could have done better with an in-game game in game.

Gems wouldn’t be worth it without the in-game rewards. We have our whole hitsquad regularly reaching level 25 for the resists buff, and some of the permanent rewards at the highest levels are serious quality of life improvements. It can be disappointing, though, to get a run of aoe gems near your target level and end up getting the experence buff when you’re already max into 60. Lots of time invested, but thats EQ!

Rumour has it that gems was created on the side during work hours and the guy got fired for making it instead of working on the actual game but the code stayed in
