So I've been hearing that this old 89 year old in California is saying that the world will end this saturday

At precisely 6pm(dunno what time zone) a Huge earthquake will ravage the world and god will take the faithful up?

Agree or Disagree?

Who's ganna be on p99 when we get sucked in by the earth? Me!

I am a Christian and I think this guy is a kook. With all of his calculations and so forth he missed one BIG thing. Matthew 24:36 reads...

"However, no one knows the day or hour when these things will happen, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself. Only the Father knows.

So unless this guy is now claiming he is God, he would have no idea when this will happen. Maybe he should have read the book. It would have saved him a lot of trouble with his math problem.

People take stuff way too fucking literally. Is something gonna happen? Maybe...but it's not end of the world everyone dies kinda stuff. Anyone who doesn't have their head up their ass knows that the Bible is a big book of metaphors. If people could really predict the future, don't you think they woulda skipped over dial-up internet and went straight to broadband?
