Default Nikolai, admin of EQMac.com confirmed piece of trash.

Imagine a man's entire family gets raped, and when police contact him regarding finding the culprit he's like "Nah, I have respect for this guy, don't worry about it."

This man is Nikolai, owner of the EQMac.com community.

I provide the forums as a service to the EQMac community, out of a respect for the people who play, and to support a game I once spent a great deal of my life playing.
The guy no longer plays EQ, and it's obvious that the "respect" he has for the people who play is completely bullshit.

I will not do that. Out of respect for both the EQMac community and yes, even SOE, I will continue to maintain the same standards we have had for many years. This includes removal and possible banning of people who violate eqmac.com's rules.
This is a man who has respect for SoE, a company who for no given reason has chosen to dismantle the entire EQMac community. Years of work of gearing characters and pushing towards accessing Plane of Time is just going to go to the great recycle bin in the sky. Nikolai apparently doesn't give a shit, yet still claims he has respect for the community? My bullshit detector is going nuts.

What provokes him to begin posting this garbage on this forum in the first place? This:

Additionally, for the time being, the administrator(s) of the eqmac.com website/forums have requested that P99 not be mentioned or posted about. I expect everyone to honor this request, as would be the case for any other website.
This has nothing to do with legal implications of posting software downloads on this forum. He wants absolutely no mention of Project 1999, the only place where his community can migrate to to continue their classic EverQuest experience, from being mentioned on this forum. Why? Because his loyalty for some bizarre reason lies with SoE, and not the hundreds of EverQuest players he provides a website for. Discussing P99 on the EQMac forums hurts no one, their server is (unfortunately) toast. Apparently getting fucked over by SoE wasn't bad enough, Nikolai decides to give them a "respectful" fuck you, also.

I've never played on Al`Kabor, and even I want to punch you in the face for your disgusting attitude.

Because of all this, YOU Nikolai win the coveted Tool of the Month award. You have thoroughly mastered the art of being a scumbag.

Why would I be mad? I have absolutely nothing to do with the EQMac community. I just find Nikolia's disposition about the matter to be despicable, in the same way I would about anyone being a complete asshole.

Calling someone out for being a toolbag does not = anger. But it's fucked enough to warrant spending a minute or so making a thread.

EQMac already had a smaller population than us. I welcome any of the players that would like to come and play P99, but I don't expect any sort of surge of people.

It isn't about the numbers... for me at least. I'd be happy to have some quality, mature raiders come onto the scene. And knowing where eqMac was at means that it is more than likely we will see a few of these coming over.

Really? I hear about Temerity and Vintage and got the impression their community was larger than ours? At least 500-1000 nightly unlike our 200-700 nightly. Guess I was mistaken.
