Relive the Classic Everquest Experience as it was from 1999 to 2001. Project 1999 is a free to play Classic Everquest Server, unaffiliated with Daybreak Game Company but operating under legal permission. Our goal is to restore the magic and difficulty of the original Everquest game, including the mechanics, interface, and challenges of Original Content, Kunark, and Velious. Project 1999 is the most popular and most accurate reincarnation of Old School Everquest.

A 25% Experience Bonus, 100% Loot Bonus, and 50% Faction Bonus has been enabled from now until Tuesday, January 3rd.
Changelog- Rogean: Removed FPS Limitations - Requires Optional Files Patch.
- Rogean: Restored messages for debuffs wearing off.
- Rogean: Resolved an issue with server/client inventory sync related to food/drink consumption.
- Rogean: Riposte swings will now generate swing aggro.
- Rogean: Added support for new types of bonuses.
- Rogean: Adjusted aggro formula calculations for spell SPAs: AC/Atk Debuff, Snare, Slow, Blind, Stun, Fear, Spinstun, Charm, Mez.
- Rogean: The SPA above are capped at 1200 aggro, or 400 if the player is not high enough level to use the spell (Ex: Procs).
- Rogean: Removed an overall spell cap of 400 aggro if player was not high enough level for the spell. This is instead capped per SPA Above.
- Rogean: Bards are now capped at 140 aggro per song/spell/proc in all circumstances.
- Rogean: Various spells in our database had erroneous bonus hate values that should not exist in any of our eras. The code handling that is now removed. This affected various spells in the Tashan line and Ykesha proc.
- Nilbog: 'Urako's Big Mistake', 'More Help for Innoruuk', 'Majik Power', 'Aviak Chicks', 'Aviak Talons' quests are now multiquestable with correct faction requirements.
- Nilbog: The Spiroc Lord now summons a pet.
- Nilbog: Added missing quest 'Divine Duty'.
- Nilbog: Ithvol K`Jasn's faction requirements function better.
- Nilbog: 'Death of Lyda Nasin', 'The Rogue Take', 'Honeybugger Assassin' quests require amiable or better faction.
- Nilbog: Nutal Malfoot's 'Healing' quest requires indifferent or better faction.
- Nilbog: Added missing npc Keljemor.
- Nilbog: Ancient Wurm Hide Robe, Chestplate of Vindication, and Breastplate of Eradication use Velious textures [Sep2001]
- Nilbog: Boots of the Vindicator no longer use Velious textures prior to Sep2001.

- Nilbog: 'Grim Tiger's Revenge' quest now functions properly. Amiable or better faction.
- Nilbog: Corrected Cynthia's spawn behavior between eras.
- Nilbog: Updated 'Azraxs' Legacy' quest, added missing dialogue, faction checks etc. Kindly or better faction.
- Nilbog: Irak Altil will appear as a zombie model until Nov2000.
- Nilbog: Updated Quillmane's loot table to improve the chance of receiving a cloak instead of leggings.

- Nilbog: Sulon Mcmoor is now a wizard guildmaster. Updated stats, appearance, and aggro text.
- Nilbog: Sleeper's Tomb: Before sleeper wakes, all npcs see invis; after Sleeper wakes, none see invis.
- Nilbog: Sleeper's Tomb: Before sleeper wakes, named golems have less of a chance of dropping primals. After sleeper wakes, if a primal drops, the chance of which one is equal instead of weighted.
- Nilbog: Sleeper's Tomb: After sleeper wakes, ancient sentries no longer flurry.
- Nilbog: Morin Shadowbane will not spawn until Sep1999.
- Nilbog: The following patterns are not available until Sep1999: Mask, Belt, Cloak, Wristband, Shoulderpad

- Telin: Gornolin now only spawns during the day.
- Telin: The Interrogator in South Karana will no longer spawn out of era.
- Telin: Immolate now does damage again.
- Telin: Adjusted loot for Felwithe guards.
- Telin: Jano Jinglebelly will no longer spawn until Jun2001 era and will no longer responds to hails.
- Telin: Adjusted faction adjustments when turning the note into Beek Guinders.
- Telin: Post-revamp dracoliche will no longer have a chance to drop pre-revamp loot.

- Telin: [Feb2001] Bard Dual Wield skill cap has been raised to 245.
- Telin: Boats and Row Boats are no longer flooded in many zones.
- Telin: Adding missing paths to certain spawns in Kithicor.
- Telin: Kithicor Forest now gets brighter during the daytime and Plane of Fear now has a proper night time.
