If someone is really trying to twink on a budget then they should just buy the golden fire wedding rings. You only lose 2 AC and 20hp but save 300p that you can spend on other gear, weapons or spells.

I would just spend the money on the Platinum Fire. Those rings will last you into your 50's, and you're going to end up buying them anyhow.
