I experience this with WinEQ2, I think it reverts when I close EQ itself, even if WinEQ2 is still open. Windows 10.

Yeah it usually does. Sometimes I need to go to the tray and close out WinEQ2 though, but always fully resolves the problem. I like f.lux too, but I do a lot of graphics and photo work, have my monitor corrected, I can't just cover up the problem or reboot every time I run EQ. But for others, would probably work I guess.
