Try using the + or - key on your keypad to move the values, i tried entering numbers directly into my bios and it just reset to the default value.

This guy seems to have the same problem

but he managed to fix it, check it out.. might help.

Read that thread earlier. Multiple people had the issue actually. None of their solutions have worked.

Shits and giggles Ro.. you did physically move the unit.. So before we fuck the BIOS more.. start reseating MEM/Cards etc first.. I wouldn't fully reseat the Fan/CPU, just check to make sure it's still snug, you know machines get buggy as hell is a gnat sneezes around them at times.. Clear NV-Ram (again), Boot and check for POST .. No sense in over shooting basic shit..

since BIOS 0801

801 is the first bios that the board was created with.

Before I actually hard reset cmos (battery removal), can you confirm that ONBOARD intel raid controllers won't be affected? The motherboard holds my raid 0 for my SSD's. If that goes I'd be fuuuuucked.

It seems that most other people ran into this issue after a heat related issue. I highly suggest reseating your processor.

I have read through alot of forums now, reseat the PRC, its quite simple. If you want to take other steps before that, then flash your BIOS from outside of the OS.

Another thing you can try is shutting down the computer, removing the power cord and holding down the power button for 10-15seconds to drain all remaining power from the PC(flea power), then turn it back on and try again.

Actually removing the battery would just accomplish what I did in the first place, which was using the cmos reset jumpers. I might just try that again though.
